Name: Simple (1996-1999)

Foxhound

hound breeders, and was euthanized at a very young age. |

Name: Maniac (1986-??)
Breed: Border Collie Mix
Owners: VP-9/VP-48
Origin: Maniac was rescued as a puppy near a dumpster in Adak, Alaska, as he was being
eyed by some bald eagles. The Navy patrol squadron airmen who worked on the line raised
him in the line shack and he became the squadron mascot. At the end of the deployment, he
was brought back to Moffett Field on the airlift and we kept him in our quarters on base.
He was later abducted by a discharged airman and is believed to have spent the rest of his
life in Albuquerque, NM.. |
 |
Name: Sunnyvale's Sonntag Max (1974-??)
Breed: Doberman Pinscher
Owners: Rick and Carol
Origin: Sunnyvale Kennel, Foley, AL.
Max is the first and last dog we ever bought from a breeder. He was a great dog, but
overly protective of Karina and Cristian, who were very young, and we decided to let him
be adopted by a single sight-impaired woman in Corpus Christi, TX who needed a protective
canine companion. |
